Lambkin Lane Farm is situated some 45 miles SE of Columbus, Ohio, in rural Fairfield County. It is home to Scottish Blackface Sheep that we are using to participate in the North America Valais Blacknose Sheep breed up program.
Maremmas and Anatolian Shepherds protect our livestock from predators. Having these wonderful dogs living with our livestock gives us peace of mind whether we are at home or away.
We have been involved in the breeding and exhibition of pure-bred dogs for over 50 years. Breeding top-winning show dogs (Dandie Dinmont Terriers and Anatolian Shepherds) has taught us that "quality begets quality". During the past 50 years, we have produced numerous Champions, as well as Best in Show, Group and Specialty winners.
The "lessons learned" in breeding quality dogs will play an important role in our mission to breed exceptional quality sheep. With the help of the Valais Blacknose Sheep community, our goal will be to breed animals which exhibit all the best characteristics of the breed. We will also apply that same philosophy to the breeding of the Scottish Blackface Sheep.
